This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of mine explosion-proof open channel flow meters (hereinafter referred to as flow meters). This standard applies to the design and manufacture of instruments used to determine the drainage volume inside drainage ditches in coal mines. This standard does not apply to other flow measuring instruments used underground in coal mines and not in drainage ditches.
