Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, labels and packaging, transportation and storage of carpet tiles. This standard applies to carpet tiles with an adhesive reinforcing layer on the back of tufted carpets with synthetic fibers, wool and wool blended fibers as pile heads. Carpet tiles with other fiber materials as piles can also be used as a reference.
