Scope: This standard specifies the principles, instruments, sample collection and preparation, test procedures, result calculation and precision of the moisture determination method for pyridine products. This standard is applicable to the determination of pure pyridine, α-methylpyridine, β-methylpyridine fractions, pyridine solvents and other moisture obtained by fractionation of crude light pyridine obtained from high-temperature coking recovery gas. Measuring range (mass fraction): Not greater than 1.0%. Personnel using this standard should have practical experience in formal laboratory work. This standard does not address all possible safety issues. It is the user's responsibility to adopt appropriate safety and health measures and ensure compliance with the conditions stipulated in relevant national regulations.
