- This standard specifies the principles of the method for determining the content of pyridine and its homologs in crude light pyridine, sample collection and preparation, instruments, test procedures, result calculation and precision. This standard is applicable to the determination of the content of pyridine and its homologues in crude light pyridine recovered from the mother liquor of the saturator during high-temperature coking. Personnel using this standard should have practical experience in formal laboratory work. This standard does not address all possible safety issues. It is the user's responsibility to adopt appropriate safety and health measures and ensure compliance with the conditions stipulated in relevant national regulations.
