Scope

This standard specifies the principle, instruments and equipment, samples, test procedures, test results and test errors for the determination of air permeability of carbon materials. This standard applies to the determination of carbon materials at room temperature, and also applies to the determination of air permeability of refractory materials used in blast furnaces.
