- This part specifies the 48-dot matrix fonts of the 27484 CIK unified Chinese characters in the GB 13000 basic multilingual plane. If there is a vacant character in the G column, the Chinese characters in the T, J, and K columns will be filled. This part also specifies the CJK radicals and some CJK compatible Chinese characters in GB 13000 Basic Multilingual Plane and the fonts of radicals/components specified in GB 18030-2000. The 48-dot matrix non-Chinese character fonts that are not specified in this part are specified in GB 12041 "Information Technology Chinese Character Coded Character Set (Basic Set) 48-dot Matrix Fonts". This part applies to the display equipment in the Chinese character information system, and also applies to other related equipment.
