Scope

This standard specifies the determination method for the content of water-soluble low molecular substances in polycaproamide chips and fibers. Method A of this standard is applicable to polycaprolactam fiber (nylon 6); method B is applicable to fiber-grade polycaprolactam chips, and is also suitable for rapid determination of polycaprolactam fiber within the enterprise. Method A is used when rapid assay results are in dispute.
