- The part of GB/T 461 stipulates the method for the determination of water absorption of paper and paperboard after being completely immersed in water for a specified time. This section applies to general paper and paperboard, especially to paper and paperboard treated to a certain degree of waterproofing. This section does not apply to absorbent paper.
