- This standard specifies the method for the determination of trace metal elements in crude oil by atomic absorption spectrometry. This standard is applicable to the determination of iron, nickel, sodium and vanadium in crude oil. The concentration measurement range of this standard method is determined by the sensitivity of the instrument, the amount of sample to be analyzed and the dilution factor. This standard does not involve safety issues related to operation, and users are responsible for taking appropriate safety protection measures and formulating applicable management systems before using this standard.
