Scope

This standard specifies methods for measuring the amount of ferrite present in austenitic and austenitic-ferritic stainless steel weld metals using microstructures, microstructures, and magnetic devices. Furthermore, it specifies the preparation of welded metal test pieces to be applied to the measurement method using magnetic equipment and how to obtain the measured values.
