Scope

This standard specifies the content of instruction manuals for earthmoving machines (hereinafter referred to as machines) as defined in JIS A 8308, and provides guidelines for the format. This standard is intended to assist manufacturers of earthmoving equipment in drafting and presenting instruction manuals.
