This specification covers an aluminum alloy in the form of extruded bars, rods, wire, profiles, and tubing. These extrusions have been used typically for parts requiring good surface finish and for hollow, partially enclosed, intricate profiles for which an alloy having good extruding characteristics is required, but usage is not limited to such applications.
