Scope

This standard specifies metals in particulate matter in gases emitted from flues, chimneys, ducts, etc. due to combustion of fuels and other materials, smelting and processing of metals, physical and chemical processing, etc. Specifies methods for analyzing cadmium, lead, nickel, manganese, vanadium, chromium, beryllium, arsenic and selenium, and arsenic and selenium in gaseous substances.
