Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for polyether type load-bearing flexible polyurethane foam (hereinafter referred to as foam). This standard does not apply to foams grown in-place, foams used in heat-sealing applications other than load-bearing applications, foams used in carpet backing, packaging cushioning, etc.
