- This standard specifies the test method for measuring the low temperature resistance of rubber or plastic coated fabrics after being exposed to low temperature for a certain period of time and subjected to bending at a specified temperature. This standard applies to coated fabrics with a thickness of 0.1mm to 2.2mm. For materials thicker than those above, modifications to standard equipment are required (see 8.2). Since various rubber or plastic coated fabrics are used in different products requiring low temperature bending, this test cannot be used as the sole criterion for judging their performance in use.
