Scope: This standard specifies the inspection of geometric accuracy, working accuracy, positioning accuracy and repeat positioning accuracy of general-purpose and ordinary-precision gantry rail grinders. This standard also specifies corresponding tolerances for these accuracy tests. This standard applies only to mobile table machine tools that perform linear grinding motion. Machine tools with fixed tables and rotary tables do not fall within the scope of this standard. This standard is only used for the accuracy inspection of machine tools. It is not applicable to the operation inspection of machine tools (such as vibration, abnormal noise, crawling of moving parts, etc.), nor the parameter inspection of machine tools (such as speed, feed, etc.) . These checks should be performed before accuracy inspection.
