Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for the acceleration characteristics, maximum speed and gradeability of electrically driven electric vehicles whose maximum design total mass does not exceed 3500kg. This standard applies to electrically driven electric vehicles whose maximum design gross mass does not exceed 3500kg.
