JIS B 8008-2:2000 Reciprocating internal combustion engines -- Exhaust emission measurement -- Part 2: Measurement of gaseous and particulate exhaust emissions at site
This standard, together with J1S B 8008-1, specifies methods for measuring and evaluating gaseous emissions and particulate emissions from steady-state reciprocating internal combustion engines (RIC engines) in the field. This is necessary to determine the weighting value for exhaust pollutants. Different combinations of engine loads and rotational speeds reflect different engine applications (see JIS B 8008-4).
