- This standard specifies the specifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks and packaging of general-purpose fabric-cored conveyor belts (referred to as ordinary conveyor belts) with rubber or plastic coverings used on flat or grooved idlers. This standard does not apply to conveyor belts for special purposes such as heat resistance, oil resistance, flame retardant, acid and alkali resistance, and food transportation.
