Scope

This standard specifies the technical conditions for ethanol gasoline for vehicles composed of a certain amount of denatured fuel ethanol and additives to improve performance in liquid hydrocarbons without oxygenates. This standard is applicable to the fuel used in spark-ignition internal combustion engines for vehicles.
