Scope

This International Standard specifies basic tests to verify the stability of bi-directional and multi-directional fork-lift trucks with tiltable or non-tiltable mast or fork arms. It is applicable to trucks fitted with fork arms and/or attachments. This International Standard is not applicable to trucks that handle suspended loads that can swing freely.
