- Scope
- This standard applies to fiber optic devices with connectors and/or complete connector sets for panel mounting. The purpose of this procedure is to ensure that the entire connector assembly will withstand the shear forces it will experience during normal use. This shear force may be applied to the entire connector, the housing of the device, or other specified parts.
