Scope

This standard applies to all users of consumer products (hereinafter referred to as "products"), including visually impaired people and elderly people with declining eyesight, who use the control panel of various consumer products that have electrical operation switches. Guidelines for displaying raised symbols for the purpose of improving operability are stipulated.
