Scope
This International Standard specifies an atomic absorption spectrometric method for the determination of the contents of calcium (Ca), copper (Cu), iron (Fe), magnesium (Mg), manganese (Mn), potassium (K), sodium (Na) and zinc (Zn) in animal feeding stuffs. The method is applicable to all animal feeding stuffs. The limit of determination for the elements concerned is as follows: K and Na 500 mg/kg; Ca and Mg 50 mg/kg; Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn 5 mg/kg.
