Scope

This standard specifies the method and technical requirements for scanning electron microscopy to analyze sandstone samples of oil and gas reservoirs. This standard is applicable to the scanning electron microscope analysis of oil and gas reservoir sandstone samples. The analysis of rock samples from other oil and gas reservoirs can also be carried out by reference.
