Scope
This specification covers a corrosion-resistant steel in the form of cold worked bars and wire. These products have been used typically for parts, such as high strength bolts, requiring corrosion and heat resistance up to 700 degrees F (371 degrees C), but usage is not limited to such applications. Product should not be subjected to temperatures exceeding 700 degrees F (371 degrees C) during fabrication or in service.
