This standard specifies the spectrophotometric method for determining dissolved sulfide in water. This method can be used to determine mass concentrations of dissolved sulfides between 0.04 and 1.5 mg/l. If the concentration is high, quantification can be achieved by using a smaller amount of sample and then diluting it.
