- —This standard specifies methods for quantifying dissolved anions such as bromide, chloride, nitric acid, nitrite, orthophosphate, and sulfuric acid in wastewater. —By appropriate sample pretreatment (e.g. dilution) and the use of a conductivity detector (CD) or an ultraviolet absorption detector, the measurement ranges shown in Table 1 can be obtained.
