- This standard applies to the electrolyte and its components used in nickel-cadmium open-ended batteries. These electrolytes are used for: - filling of cells without electrolyte and/or - refilling of cells requiring replacement of the electrolyte and/or - refilling of the working electrolyte when water is required. This standard does not apply to the special needs of the manufacturer.
