Scope
This specification covers an aircraft-quality, low-alloy steel in the form of round, non-welded tubing free from OD surface seams. This product has been used typically for use in airframe tubular parts requiring a minimum tensile strength of 95.0 ksi (655 MPa) as received, or up to 180.0 ksi (1241 MPa) after heat treatment, but usage is not limited to such applications.
