- This standard specifies the safety technical requirements for bridge-type grab ship unloaders (hereinafter referred to as ship unloaders) in terms of design, manufacture, installation test, use and maintenance, inspection and repair. This standard applies to ship unloaders used for unloading large bulk cargoes such as coal, ore, and yellow sand in ports. Similar ship unloaders used in raw material wharves of power plants and steel mills can also be used as a reference.
