Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for hot air aging, ozone aging, artificial weathering accelerated aging (xenon arc lamp, carbon arc lamp, ultraviolet fluorescent lamp). This standard is applicable to the comparison of the aging resistance of asphalt-based membranes and coatings, synthetic polymer membranes and coatings for building waterproofing projects. Other building waterproof materials can also be used as a reference.
