- Scope
- This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging marks, storage and transportation of plastic-modified asphalt waterproofing membranes. This standard applies to building waterproof membranes made of polyester felt or glass fiber felt as the tire base, random polypropylene (APP) or polyolefin polymer (APAO, APO) as a modifier, and both sides covered with insulating materials. (collectively referred to as APP coil). This standard does not apply to bituminous waterproofing membranes made of other modified bitumen, tire base and upper surface materials.
