- 1.1 These practical application guidelines fPAGsl are intended to provide a SOUrCe of reference for understanding the use and applications of leakage current protection devices The guidelines describe leakage current protection devices．including their featu res and limitations 1.2 This PAG does not contain any construction or performance requirements for leakage current protection devices Ground-fault circulc_inlerrupters，equipment leakage current interrupters，and appliance leakage circuit interrupters are investigated in accordance with the Standard for Ground—Fault Circuit·Interrupters，UL 943 Immersion+detection circuit-interrupters are investigated in accordance with the Standard for Immersion—Detection Circuit-InterruIpters．UL 1664．and ground．fault sensing and relaying equipment is investigated in accordance with the Standard for G round—Fault Sensing and Relaying Equipment．UL 1 053． 1.3 These guidelines do not contain any construction or performance requirements for leakage current protection devices．Leakage current protection devices are investigated in accordance with the Standards for Ground_Fault Circuit—Interrupters，UL 943，and Immersion—Detection Circuit-Interrupters， UL 1664
