This part of GB/T 2423 specifies test methods applicable to electrical and electronic products that may be subject to dripping, flushing or immersion during transportation, storage or use. It is used to assess the water test of seals such as shells and covers of electrical and electronic products. Whether the good working performance of the equipment and components can be guaranteed afterwards or during the test. The test methods specified in this section are not suitable for corrosion tests. This section does not simulate the effects of large temperature differences between water and specimens, such as increased water intrusion due to pressure changes and thermal shock. This section includes artificial rain tests based on natural conditions, but usually does not consider natural rainfall with strong wind speed. This section gives guidance on the selection of tests and application of severity levels. This section can be used as a reference for product technical standards.
