This standard specifies the measurement method of air pressure in public places. This standard is applicable to the determination of air pressure in public places with an air pressure of 800hPa to 1064hPa. The plateau aneroid barometer can be used to measure the air pressure in public places with an air pressure of 500hPa to 1020hPa. It is also suitable for the determination of outdoor atmospheric pressure, but not for the measurement of air pressure inside the aircraft.
