- Scope
- This standard specifies the calibration of dynamometers for static inspection of uniaxial testing machines (such as tensile/compression testing machines), and gives the grading method of dynamometers. A force gauge is defined as the entire package from the force sensor up to and including the pointing device. This standard is generally applicable to dynamometers whose force is determined by measuring the elastic deformation of the force-bearing body or a quantity proportional to it.
