Scope: This standard specifies the general method for the determination of chloride content in inorganic chemical products - potentiometric titration. This standard applies to test solutions with a chloride ion content of 1 mg/L to 1500 mg/L. The content of chloride (calculated as Cl) in the test solution for titration is 0.01mg~75mg. When the concentration of silver nitrate standard solution used is less than 0.02mol/L, the titration should be carried out in ethanol-water solution.
