Scope

This standard specifies how to mark flame retardants added to plastic materials in a certain manner. The symbol shall be represented by the abbreviation FR followed by one or more code numbers as shown in clause 5. These symbols are used in addition to the symbols related to plastic materials for the designation of plastic materials and for the identification and labeling of plastic products.
