Scope

This standard specifies how to determine the pH of aqueous extracts of vinyl chloride homopolymers and copolymers using a pH meter with a glass electrode. Although this property is not suitable for estimating the electrical properties of the resin, it is a guideline for selecting additives, especially stabilizers, used to adjust the compound.
