- Scope
- This standard specifies the required hygienic protection distances between tanneries (leather, leather processing plants) and residential areas. This standard is applicable to tanneries and their expansion projects located in plains and hilly areas. The health protection distance of the existing tannery should be jointly determined by the competent department of the construction unit and the competent department of health and environmental protection of the province, city, and autonomous region where the construction project is located according to the odor measurement and evaluation report.
