- This standard stipulates the required sanitary protection distance between silk reeling factories and residential areas. This standard applies to new silk reeling plants located in plains and micro-hill areas, as well as expansion and reconstruction projects of existing silk reeling plants. Existing silk reeling factories can refer to the implementation. The health protection distance under complex terrain conditions should be determined jointly by the competent department of the construction unit and the competent department of health and environmental protection of the province, city, or autonomous region where the construction project is located according to the atmospheric environment quality evaluation report.
