- This standard specifies the hygienic protection distance required between the lime plant and the residential area. This standard applies to new lime plants located in plains and hilly areas, as well as expansion and reconstruction projects of existing lime plants. Existing lime plants can be implemented as a reference, and the sanitary protection distance under complex terrain conditions should be determined jointly by the competent department of the construction unit and the competent department of health and environmental protection of the province, city, and autonomous region where the construction project is located according to the atmospheric environment quality evaluation report .
