Scope: This standard specifies the sanitary protection distance required between the paint factory and the residential area. This standard applies to new paint factories located in plains and hilly areas, as well as expansion and reconstruction projects of existing paint factories. Existing paint factories can refer to it. The health protection distance under complex terrain conditions should be determined jointly by the competent department of the construction unit and the competent department of health and environmental protection of the province, city, or autonomous region where the construction project is located according to the atmospheric environment quality evaluation report.
