- Barytes (grades a and b), whiting (grades a, b, c and d), crystalline calcium carbonate (grades a, b, c and d), precipitated calcium carbonate (grades a and b), dolomite (grades a, b, c and d), china clay (grades a, b and c), talc in fibrous form (grades a and b) and lamellar form (grades a, b and c), talc containing carbonate, mica (grades a and b), silica, quartzite, type 1 (grades a, b, c and d), silica, quartzite, type 2 (grades a, b, c and d), kieselguhr, type 1 (grades a, b, c and d), kieselguhr type 2 (grades a, b, c and d), synthetic calcium silicate, synthetic sodium aluminium silicate, synthetic silica. Methods of test: comparison of colour, residue on sieve, particle size distribution, matter volatile at 105
C, loss on ignition, matter soluble in water, pH of aqueous suspension, barium sulphate content, calcium carbonate content, calcium and magnesium contents, silica content. Annex gives normal ranges of absorption values.
