Scope

This standard specifies the basic types, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, storage and transportation of compressed natural gas cylinder valves. This standard applies to the valves (hereinafter referred to as valves) on compressed natural gas cylinders for vehicles with an ambient temperature of -40 to 60 °C and a nominal pressure not greater than 20 MPa.
