Scope

This standard specifies methods for determining the arsenic content of fluorite for use in hydrofluoric acid by silver diethyldithiocarbamate spectrophotometry and X-ray fluorescence analysis. The fluorescent X-ray analysis method is specified in Annex 1 (normative). This method is applied to products containing 0.0001% or more of arsenic (As).
