This standard specifies a method for the electrochemical determination of dissolved fluoride in fresh water, lightly polluted water, and certain surface waters. This method is suitable for directly measuring fluoride concentrations between 0.2 and 2.0 mg/l. When adding the highest known fluorides, concentrations as low as 0.02 mg/l can be detected (see 7.3). This method is not suitable for wastewater and industrial wastewater. This quantification will be the subject of JJIS K 0400-34-20.
