Scope

This standard specifies three methods for the determination of readily liberated cyanide (see 2.) in water. This method applies to waters containing less than 50 mg/l of readily liberated cyanide (as cyanide ions) and less than 100 mg/l of total cyanide (as cyanide ions). However, higher concentrations can be quantified by diluting the sample appropriately.
