Scope

This standard covers nickel plating, copper-nickel plating, nickel-chromium plating, and copper-nickel plating on the effective surface of iron and steel, copper and copper alloys, zinc alloys, aluminum and aluminum alloy substrates for the purpose of corrosion protection and decoration. -Chrome plating (hereinafter referred to as plating) (I)(2) is specified.
